Rohan is a land technologist at the University of Twente’s well-known ITC Faculty in The Netherlands. ITC focuses on using geospatial technologies to combat key global concerns including food security, climate change and poverty, which is why Rohan has joined the GIM International Summit Conference Committee. Rohan works with networks from sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia to design and assess alternative geospatial technologies and solutions which will be cheaper and faster to implement. He holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne, Australia, as well as degrees in geomatics engineering and information systems. He has co-edited several books as well as numerous international journals and conference papers.
